This home, situated on a corner lot, required an exterior transformation due to moisture intrusion through the old stucco. This gave College City Design/Build the opportunity to create a home featuring architectural details viewed from multiple angles. This home received a new front entry which featured large, full stone columns and a barrel vaulted ceiling with a chandelier. The existing bay window also received a new standing seam copper roof. A new louver with copper detailing was added in the garage gable helping to tie together the front exterior features of the home. Cultured stone, James Hardi staggered shakes and an oversized trim band wrap the entire home creating unity and balance. Only two paint colors were utilized giving this home a very simple and classic style.

This once white stucco home was in need of a facelift. Adding a few architectural details, College City Design/Build was able to transform the look of this home from cold and sterile to warm and inviting. The addition of simple touches such as new eyebrow roofs over the garage doors, a new shed roof over the bedroom window and new louvers in the gables enabledCollegeCityto create a home with a charming yet classic feel that the homeowners desired. Dressing the exterior with a mixture of cultured stone, James Hardi lap siding, James Hardi shakes and James Hardi board-n-batt siding provided the perfect canvas for the multi-colored paint palette. Finally the stained rough cedar roof brackets and front column helped to tie in the natural backdrop of the home. Here, the transformation gave the homeowners the rich curb appeal that they and their home deserved.
