Custom cherry cabinetry in a deep espresso finish provide a rich base against the crisp white-based Cambria “Torquey” quartz countertop and extra tall backsplash. The same Cambria is used in the shower for the “floating” shower seat and the shelves in the niches. The slab door style creates a clean look allowing other design elements to really shine.
The sparkle in the room comes from several distinctive elements – the crystal and chrome loops chandeliers, the large scale glass and chrome cabinet pulls, the bold, graphic silver and charcoal wallpaper, the giant mirror and the chrome fixtures. THIS is Glam!
A single 12×24 porcelain tile with a wave-like linear pattern was laid throughout the floor and shower, in varying orientations, to visually expand and unify the space while subtly adding interest. The coordinating tile in a basket weave mosaic was used for the shower floor and inside the niches. The walk-in shower features a “his and hers” configuration, each with separate rain showers, slide bars and handheld showers.
The pullout countertop cabinetry provides maximum storage at the clients’ fingertips. Additional custom storage includes lingerie roll outs and pullout waste baskets. We designed a 2-sided built-in with drawers and TV space on the bedroom side, and shoe shelving and a boot rack on the closet side.
